All About Mary...

Mary Jones is a local artist living in Minong, Wisconsin. Raised near Lake Michigan and spending summers in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, her deep connection to nature inspired her artistic journey. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin–Stout and taught art for 32 years in Glenwood City, Wisconsin. Now retired, Mary focuses on batik, creating vibrant mixed media artwork inspired by nature’s beauty - including both wildlife and landscapes. Mary currently has her work for sale at Arts in Hand Gallery in Spooner, WI, Dovetail Cafe and Marketplace in Duluth, MN , and on her website.
