All About Kelly...
Kelly Egger currently works for the Hayward School District as a High School Art Teacher. She has been teaching at this level for over 25 years. During this time she has created many student murals and art opportunities within the surrounding areas.
Her strengths come from her desire to spread art as positive change and as a way to connect and strenghtn community. CHARAC has helped her continue this mission.
Kelly' personal work focuses on the natural world and how humans interact with it. She grew up learning to paint with oil, but for portability has developed her own style, painting plein air using acrylic and oil layering. She now works in any media she has on hand or feels like using, including metal, paint, glass, or clay.
