About The Event
Dear Artist and Creative Types,
Our last salon-style gathering was August 10, held at Lora Gerdes’ beautiful home studio in Hayward. I forgot to take a head-count, but I’m guessing there were at least nine or ten of us.
The discussion was lively and interesting. We talked about possible venues, the condition and future of the arts in the area, as well as, gave feedback on the art that we each brought. The question was brought up as to whether we should consider having specific programs with a guest artist and/or speakers. The consensus was to leave our format as it is for the time being. We all enjoy the camaraderie and seeing each other’s studios and art.
The next meeting will be held, Monday, September 21, 5:00 p.m., at the studio of Jean Accola, 3634 N. Boxing Camp Trail, Stone Lake, 54876.
