ArtEventThe Cable Hayward area has many opportunities for visitors to experience art.

Our cooperative art gallery, Art Market 63,  located just one mile south of Cable toward Hayward is open year round and hosts  the art of 14+ local artisans as well as classes/workshops and rotating exhibits.

You can see art at the Weiss Library in Hayward with rotating exhibits that highlight area artists.

  • The CHARAC annual event “A Toast to Art”,  attracts 200-300 people to celebrate art enrichment.  Experience the presentations by local students and high schools that have received funding from CHARAC, be entertained,  and purchase local art.
  • Music and Art are combined at the Namekagon Arts and Music Festival on the first Saturday each July which brings over 1500 people together for art vendors and musicians.  Food provided by the local Lions Club of Seeley all at the Mooselips Festival Grounds of the Sawmill Saloon.
  • During the second weekend each August the CHARAC Art Crawl allows visitors to meet area artists in their studios and galleries.
  • There is a world of art in the Northwoods come and see for yourself!
