Cable Hayward Area Arts Council

A non-profit, artistic community in the Wisconsin northwoods


As part of CHARAC’s commitment to arts education, CHARAC offers four annual scholarships of $500 each to graduating students in the Cable and Hayward Areas who are pursuing an arts education. Applicants eligible for consideration must meet the criteria listed below.

All applications are due by May 1.  Mail to PO Box 182, Cable, WI  54821.

1. Exhibit a history of participation in the arts

a. Involvement in school arts activities
b. Involvement in community arts programs
c. Studied independently in a particular area of the arts

2. Focus on the arts or art related field as their future area of study at an accredited college or technical school.

3. Be in their senior year of school at:

a. Drummond High School
b. Hayward High School
c. LCO High School
d. Winter High School
e. Home Schooled

4. Applicant must have a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.
